Supportive, Informed Advising and Mentorship

  • I employ the Appreciative Advising model when working with students. This model builds on ideas from organizational development and encourages students to take ownership over their own journey as a learner by exploring their strengths and interests, identifying goals, and drawing up practical plans for how to get there.

  • In my work as a Pre-Law Advisor, I have helped students explore their interest in different law-related careers and prepare their law school applications.

  • Students provide highly complimentary evaluation of my advising, particularly for my knowledgeability, encouragement, and approachability.
